BSKL makin huru-hara dalam 5 hari dagangan pasaran saham di niagakan BSKL telah jatuh hampir 60 mata atau 7%.

Tapi Aiman Tak Kisah. Pasaran dagang ini pada Aiman boleh turun 6,000 mata lagi, maka turun Lah.

MALAYSIA remains confident that it will be able to ride out the financial storm that is sweeping through the US, Europe and certain Asian countries.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who is here for the Seventh Asia-Europe meeting, said the government had moved quickly in reaction to the situation, such as instilling confidence in the banking industry by guaranteeing all deposits.

He said Malaysia's economic diversification would stand it in good stead as it was no longer just dependent on commodities.

"We have strong reserves, savings, domestic consumption and banking. The political situation is stable," he said to a question on how Malaysia hoped to cope with the financial crisis, which will be the main topic of discussions at ASEM, starting tomorrow.

Abdullah said the government had also refocused its projects, giving emphasis to high impact ones to ensure employment was created and people had more disposable income. "We are focusing on niche areas where there's good potential - biotechnology, ICT, agriculture, biofuel and services. "Projects which take too long a time (to show benefits) will be reviewed."

He said although the tourism sector would be affected, Malaysia was still well placed to lure tourists.

Sebab itu Lah, Aiman lebih suka jikalau barangkali gamaknya Pak Lah kekal sebagai Perdana Menteri Malaysia sehingga walaupun 1 Jun 2100.
